In the role of Head of Marketing, Enablement, you will join the Personal Banking Marketing Leadership Team reporting into the Executive, Personal Bank Marketing. As the strategic connector for Personal Banking Marketing, you will be required to enable an aligned, consistent and customer centred marketing function, by ensuring a whole of customer view across the PB marketing activity and customer lifecycle.
With a key mandate of driving change through the adoption and leverage of MarTech and AI tooling to deliver transformational change to Ways of Working (WOW) across Personal Banking Marketing. To augment the team and help develop a best-in-class marketing function to deliver improvements to velocity and quality of output, as well as marketing efficiency and effectiveness gains.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Aligning marketing strategy and planning across PB marketing teams (domains, leads, personalisation and channels) as well as ensuring broader alignment to Group Marketing, Business & Private Bank Marketing and Corporate and Institutional Marketing teams.
- In conjunction with PBM marketing teams. optimisation and alignment of marketing investment and performance, including investment/channel recommendations, planning, forecasting and performance correction.
- Acting as a trusted advisor and enabler of coordinated investment across marketing and working closely with our agency partners.
- Supporting PBM teams to improve the performance of channel and campaign execution, encompassing distribution channel management, communications, media, agency oversight and campaign effectiveness.
- Accountable for planning, ongoing management and oversight of overall Personal Bank Marketing budget including FTE, and business funding
- Working closely with Group Marketing to drive continuous improvement of PB marketings ways of working (WOW), processes & performance, including AI & technology utilisation.
- Insight, research and continuous improvement, including customer and market insights, external research management, service quality assessment and best‑practice transfer.
- Leadership, governance and compliance, including people management, professional and ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, training obligations and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Maximise and leverage the capability and resources at PBM’s disposal including the enabling areas of Group Marketing, Data and Analytics, Strategy & Customer Advocacy and others.

- Track record of strong strategic and operational leadership experience within a large Marketing function, ideally withing Banking or Finance and/or large enterprise environment.
- Expertise in in driving alignment with stakeholders, marketing teams, and the value chain to ensure all Marketing activity deliver optimal customer and business outcomes.
- Strong people leadership with the capability to build trust and lead cross-functional teams.
- Passion for Customers – brings strong commercial acumen, the ability to evaluate risk return trade-offs and is focused on delivering customer centric solutions.
- Bold thinking - Demonstrates clear ability to step into difficult issues and can say what is required and not what people may necessarily want to hear.
