In the role of Agribusiness Manager, you will work closely with the Regional & Agribusiness team in Sydney, contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Develop and manage a complex portfolio of agribusiness customers.
- Assess economic value and risk potential of new business.
- Educate customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth.
- Proactively call on networks of contacts to help identify new business and referral opportunities.
- Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market.
- Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio.
- Coach and support the team to ensure efficient high quality customer service.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Experience in Agribusiness, Business Banking or Commercial Banking with the ability to manage complex customer portfolios.
- An understanding of agricultural sector to enable you to easily build credibility with your customers.
- Growth mindset and enthusiasm to learn, develop and succeed in business development-focused environment.
- Demonstrated lending and credit assessment experience coupled with a broad knowledge of banking products and services preferred.
- Strong financial acumen underpinned by the ability to build trusted, long term customer relationships to drive business growth and customer engagement.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
