Business Banking Manager – Perth North

Our Perth North team are looking for an experienced Business Banking Manager to join the team to manage a diverse portfolio of SME customers that cover the Perth North sector, the role is housed out of our Business Banking Centre Osborne Park.

In this Business Banking Manager role, you will

  • Assess economic value and risk potential of new business.
  • Educate customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth.
  • Proactively leveraging networks of internal and external contacts to help identify new referral opportunities.
  • Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market.
  • Talk to customers about their proposed annual business plans.
  • Prepare and submit customer lending proposals with the support of our associate team.
  • Working with internal specialists to best serve your customers.

To be considered for this role, ideally you will bring

  • Strong prior demonstrated experience within business banking and/or credit assessment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.
  • Proven track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally.
  • A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
  • A strong passion for customer service and driving customer advocacy
  • An agile mindset and adaptive leadership skills
  • Business related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification is desired, not required.
