In this Associate, Settlements role, you will  

• Support the JBWere, NAB Equity Lending and NAB Trade teams with consistently accurate processing of cash movement (client cash requests, internal cash movement requests etc.) within SLAs. This also includes corporate actions, bonds, term deposits and more.
• Engage with internal stakeholders as needed to resolve issues as they arise through BAU work.
• Support the monitoring and management of team inboxes
• Use your SME knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement and uplift of the teams processes and capability.
• Once proficient, support the wider team with conducting Quality Assurance and general audit-like work.

What you'll bring 

• Back end banking operations and/or broker knowledge. You will need a foundational understanding of banking processes from a back of house perspective.
• Understanding of the stock market and/or corporate actions not mandatory but highly regarded.
• Proficiency in eBOBs, NAB Connect and/or Internal NAB Trade Systems well regarded.
• Outstanding level of attention to detail, can consistently deliver quality work.
• Creative problem solving, has a curious mindset and eagerness to learn to find innovative and unconventional solutions through their expertise and navigate their way through obstacles with confidence.
