  • Permanent opportunity available in our Sydney Dealing room for an Interest Rate Risk Management dealer
  • Work with Business Bank and Specialised customers across Sydney Metro
  • AFMA accreditation desirable

As an Associate Director, you will:

  • Work with Business Bank customers to manage their Interest Rate risks
  • Promote growth of client franchise through innovative and effective marketing methods and deliver solutions to new and existing customers that maximise customer satisfaction and idea generation
  • Ensure key stakeholders are aware of our Interest Rate capability, research, platform and offering
  • Assisting customers & bankers to execute Interest Rate Risk Management (IRRM) transactions, both stand alone and embedded derivatives
  • Build on existing IRRM relationships, by developing a deep understanding of a client’s business model & IRRM risks
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of products, focused on value to the customer through sales and service, timely and competitive pricing
  • Mentor and assist with the development of junior members of the team
  • Assist with the development and execution of national business initiatives
  • Have a strong risk focus.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in Markets or client facing roles.
  • Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA) accreditation (preferred) or Tertiary Education/qualification in finance/business related discipline or similar
  • FAR Accreditation desired by not essential
  • A strong understanding of financial products and services
  • A strong understanding of financial markets and international finance and trade
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, client management and sales skills coupled with impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
