Director, Business Development (Permanent Full-Time role based in Sydney)

Take the lead in spearheading transaction banking origination initiatives across a diverse range of industries, engaging with both private and publicly listed corporations to drive impactful growth and create dynamic business opportunities within the Corporate & Institutional Bank.

Transaction Banking

Transactional Banking forms a key part of our Trade & Transaction Banking division and is an integral part of the Corporate & Institutional Bank.  Our Transactional Banking team provide banking solutions to help businesses pay and receive funds, manage their cash & liquidity and make payments securely. Our vision is underpinned by putting customers at the heart of everything we do, we are trusted by our customers and known in the market for providing exceptional service. 

In this role, you will..

  • Work with prospective clients sharing cutting-edge market and payment insights, crafting tailored transactional solutions to meet their unique needs 

  • Drive financial, operational, and risk enhancements that benefit both the client and NAB, fuelling success together 

  • Collaborate to propel and commercialise new payment and liquidity solutions, driving growth in product offering and expanding market share like never before 

  • Provide dynamic transaction banking insights that empower both internal teams and external clients to take informed action, driving success and unlocking new potential across the board 

  • Shape a forward-thinking product roadmap, ensuring our offerings continually evolve and meet the needs of our users 

What you’ll bring..

  • Sales origination experience across transactional banking, payments, and liquidity management 

  • Exceptional strategic planning & execution, relationship building & networking skills 

  • Passionate about driving business growth, innovation, adaptability and thought leadership 

  • Proficient in market analysis and strategy development
