  • This diverse and highly visible senior leadership role reaches across the entire NAB Group working closely with senior stakeholders from all divisions.
  • Permanent role based out of Sydney or Melbourne.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and continuously uplift a fit for purpose federated enterprise Data Risk Management framework.
  • Collaborate with divisions and data stewards to uplift data risk literacy and embed data risk management capability and practices.
  • Provide expertise and be senior manager and subject matter expert for enterprise-wide stakeholders around data risk management.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of central & divisional data risk management activities, including a Line 1 Assurance Framework & governance committee metrics.
  • Management/secretariat for enterprise data risk governance committees and forums.
  • Lead & manage a team of data risk professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, & development opportunities.

What you’ll bring...

  • Significant proven experience in a senior data risk and information management role within a financial institution, specifically the ability to support an effective federated data risk management operating model.
  • Extensive knowledge of data governance, data quality and data life-cycle management frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage & coach a team of data risk professionals.
  • Exceptional communication skills & the ability to influence & collaborate effectively with stakeholders across organisational domains.
