In this Senior Associate role, you will:

• Provide second line of defence review and challenge for the UBank Everyday Banking and Technology business units (primarily the latter).
• Provide input on relevant BU risk appetite/tolerances as well as escalate breaches, material risk issues and potential loss events as appropriate.
• Contribute to implementation activities necessary to review and challenge effectiveness of first line risk management and compliance.
• Ensure prospective risk appetite breaches, material risks, loss events and/or deviations from the Risk Management Framework are escalated on a timely basis.
• Contribute to advice on risk and compliance issues and the design of effective mitigation strategies and controls.

What you’ll bring:

• Professional experience in Risk Management, preferably within Financial Services.
• Proven ability of review and challenge activities.
• Sound expertise of relevant risk exposures – Operational Risk and Compliance, Technology Risk
• Strong customer focus, risk management and business analysis skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
