This role is to align, influence and drive outcomes via NAB group’s directly and indirectly managed Subsidiaries and relevant security programs.
As a Security Manager, Ubank, you will
- Lead, manage and coordinate security concerns across Ubank.
- Lead a team of security experts, direct workload management, career progression & mentoring; and coordinate work enabling delivery of strategic security outcomes.
- Own the relationship with NAB Group Security, including consumption of shared services.
- Provide security guidance and leadership in developing team capabilities.
- Represent an enterprise-wide perspective on re-use and optimisation of security choices.
- Proactively look for opportunities to decommission legacy technologies or to otherwise simplify our technology landscape and operating model.
- Collaborate with cross domain business / tech/ arch stakeholders to navigate trade-offs between achieving business value versus adhering to architectural guard-rails and our risk and regulatory obligations.
- Understand and communicate strategic themes and other key business drivers for security to various stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- Significant experience in security leadership along with security experience in developing or running agile practices within large organisations with regulatory and legacy constraints.
- Experience in implementing security in CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Proven experience as a CISO or in a senior information security leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, particularly with AWS.
- Expertise in security best practices and principles, risk management, and compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility.
- Proven track record of working with business stakeholders and complex business issues.
- Be a strategic thinker, a hands-on leader, and passion for driving security outcomes in a technology-driven environment.
