In the role of Senior Inbound Monitoring Manager, you will join the Fraud Prevention & Detection team that’s doubling down on protecting NAB and its customers from increasing inbound fraud and scam activity by leading the operational execution and continuous improvement of inbound fraud monitoring capabilities. Your work will play a key role in minimising customer harm and managing risk across customer contact channels.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to: 

• Own the design, delivery, and performance of advanced analytics and machine‑learning solutions for inbound fraud detection and disruption.
• Set analytical direction and priorities, ensuring models are production‑ready, effective, and continuously optimised.
• Embed analytics into inbound monitoring, decisioning, and disruption processes across customer contact channels.
• Monitor model performance and emerging fraud trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Fraud Operations, Technology, Risk and Business stakeholders to integrate analytics into end-to-end fraud monitoring in line with NAB’s risk and regulatory obligations.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver for our customers. You’ll need:  

• Proven experience in advanced analytics and machine learning for fraud detection and prevention within financial services.
• Demonstrated experience leading data science or advanced analytics teams delivering real‑world, production solutions.
• Deep understanding of inbound fraud and scam typologies, customer behaviours, and how risk manifests across customer contact channels.
• Strong leadership capability, including mentoring and coaching analysts, alongside effective stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Ability to balance technical rigour with commercial, customer and risk outcomes.
