As the Senior Associate Regulatory Enablement & Risk Delivery, you will become a key contributor within the Chief Operating Office Personal Banking (COO PB) Regulatory and Controls Delivery Team, dedicated to providing swift support and a seamless experience for both our stakeholders and customers.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Lead and deliver regulatory, risk and governance submissions in a timely and effective manner to support the Divisional Executive from a line 1 risk perspective
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across Personal Banking and provide guidance and project management support where required
- Identify customer, business, and risk impacts on compliance updates, business changes, and transformation
- Prepare and deliver quantitative reporting on divisional risk and compliance
- Maintain strong working knowledge of the business strategy and material exposures
- Continue to improve with clear alignment to support business objectives and key results
- Engage with and influence relevant Executives to improve our control environment and business practices to meet changing community and regulatory expectations
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Risk, Regulations or Governance roles gained either in a consulting firm, in-house with a large corporate or equivalent environment (previous financial services experiences is highly regarded)
- Experience in writing Board committee papers and regulatory submissions
- Research capability to proactively identify risks and regulatory context. Ability to work confidently with numbers and excel.
- Proven experience in business engagement, understand the trade-offs involved in required business change while simultaneously delivering business benefit. Requires commercial acumen, business alignment and ability to negotiate.
- Strong people and change influencing with the capability to build trust and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Possess strong presentation and facilitation skills. Effective communication skills with the ability to synthetise data and communicate findings in a meaningful way.
