Medfin is a specialised Business and wholly owned subsidiary of NAB, with Head Office located at Carrington Street Sydney and State Offices in each mainland State. A business within a business with control of the entire end to end fulfilment process with dedicated Operations , Credit , Audit , Business Support and Finance functions. The division is a specialist finance provider to healthcare practitioners specialising in the medical, dental, veterinary and allied healthcare sectors. Our highly specialised lending product range includes but is not limited to Asset Finance, Goodwill funding, and Practice Property loans. In the role of Relationship Manager – Broker, Medfin, you will join Sam Waterhouse and his high-performing team of Business Bankers who are driving real impact for customers—focused, empowered, and committed to keeping things simple. Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Build and grow a high-value Commercial Finance Broker network aligned to the Medfin client base, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Be actively involved with deal structuring and credit writing to deliver on the needs of Healthcare customers business borrowing needs.
- Partner with brokers to understand their business, identifying opportunities to align Medfin’s products and services.
- Educate and uplift broker group BDMs on Medfin’s proposition, strengthening accreditation pathways and market presence.
- Nurture and expand key relationships through trust, transparency and a consistently high-quality service experience.
- Actively manage and execute sales pipelines through planned activity, leveraging expertise across Medfin and the broader NAB Health team.
- Collaborate internally to deliver a seamless, competitive and high-quality experience for broker partners.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of all activity within CRM (Finesse).
- Build your personal brand within the specialised market, providing authentic insights to strengthen partnerships and outcomes.

- A genuine passion for customer service and extensive customer facing experience.
- Strong financial, business and credit acumen.
- A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- A curiosity to drive efficiencies and effectiveness across the team, business partners and overall value chain by modelling Medfin’s values and behaviours.
- Experience in lending and sound ability to read and interpret all aspects of customer financials, Business Banking experience preferred.
- Proven ability to build, maintain, and leverage strong internal and external networks to drive business growth and customer engagement, experience dealing with brokers preferred.
- An understanding of the Healthcare industry preferred.
