• Lead a senior, strategically important capital solutions function in order to enable origination, distribution, and portfolio optimisation

In the role of Head of Capital Solutions, you will work closely with our Capital Markets – Origination and Distribution team, contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers. 

You’ll make an impact each day by: 

• Leading the Capital Solutions team todeliver innovative financing and capital solutions for customers and the broader bank 

• Establishing and optimising credit partnerships, while overseeing Credit Insurance and Trade Products to support customer and bank objectives 

• Establishing and managing relationships with key institutional investorsOriginating third-party capital solutions across high yield, mezzanine and the broader capital stack to support customer financing outcomes 

• Driving distribution and portfolio optimisation initiatives supporting risk limits, concentration management, GLA and RWA outcomes 

• Partnering with senior stakeholders across NAB and represent C&I across relevant client, investor, industry and stakeholder forums 

You’ll bring to this role: 

• Significant banking and finance experience, with breadth across relationship banking and financial products 

• Deep capability across debt capital markets, structuring, and complex transaction execution, including deep experience working on transactions with institutional investors 

• Deep knowledge of regulatory standards, accounting treatment, and capital calculations within in banking 

• Strong understanding of Corporate & Institutional origination, issuer and investor markets and relevant product offerings 

• Proven experience developing and executing strategy and transformation, coupled with strong risk, regulatory and commercial judgement 

• Extensive leadership experience, with demonstrated capability to lead, motivate and develop teams and influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions
