- Engineer automated monitoring rules that protect customer and regulatory outcomes.
- Work across live process data to identify genuine exceptions and provide actionable assurance.
- Partner with risk, operations, data and technology teams to strengthen preventative controls.

In this role, you will work closely with the Intelligent Controls Execution team, contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers.
You’ll make an impact each day by:
- Translating approved control and monitoring requirements into reliable, automated rules.
- Confirming data sources, lineage, quality, availability and ingestion readiness.
- Coding and configuring rule logic, thresholds, tolerances, schedules and alert conditions.
- Designing and executing testing, tuning rule performance and reducing false positives.
- Deploying and supporting rules in production, investigating exceptions and driving continuous improvement.
You’ll bring to this role:
- Advanced SQL, data analysis and rule-engineering capability.
- Demonstrated ability to translate control requirements into executable logic, data mappings and testing evidence.
- Eight years’ hands-on experience building data-driven monitoring or control rules.
- Experience with data pipelines, automated alerting and production support.
- Relevant technology, data, engineering or analytics qualifications, or equivalent professional experience.
