In the role of a Business Banking Associate, you will join Paige Forbes and her team in Perth that's doubling down on customer obsession and moving with speed. This opportunity offers part-time hours, working two days per week on a 24-month fixed term contract. 

The role

As a Business Banking Associate, you will be the trusted first point of contact for relationship-managed business customers, supporting their day-to-day banking needs while partnering with Bankers to deliver outstanding customer and commercial outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by supporting business customers with their servicing, transactional and banking needs while building strong customer relationships.
• Manage customer onboarding, account maintenance and servicing activities, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Support the end-to-end lending process, including preparing lending submissions, gathering financial information and coordinating documentation requirements.
• Conduct financial spreading and analysis to support lending applications, annual reviews and portfolio management activities.
• Partner with Bankers, Credit and specialist teams to progress lending opportunities and deliver strong customer outcomes.
• Ensure all activities are completed in line with NAB policies, regulatory obligations, KYC requirements and risk management frameworks.

 You'll bring to this role:

• Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management and customer service skills.
• An interest in business lending, commercial banking and portfolio management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial assessment capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive mindset with an understanding of compliance, risk management and customer due diligence requirements.
• A completed degree in Business, Commerce or a related discipline preferred.
