In the role of Associate Director, you will join the Infrastructure, Energy and Utilities, Client Management & Execution (CME) team that’s doubling down on customer obsession and keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Manage the larger and more complex transactions within the CME Directorship alongside the portfolio Senior Associate and Associate/Analyst
- Provide significant experience input and support on structuring transactions, preparing credit submissions, employing financial modelling where required and making recommendations on transactions to credit
- Drive transactions forward whilst engaging multiple stakeholders including Client Coverage team, Product Partners and client support teams to achieve a seamless client experience
- Be responsible for oversight of the risk profile monitoring and compliance requirements of each client portfolio with the Directorship; ensuring portfolio hygiene is a good standard
- Attend internal and external stakeholders’ meetings to support business outcomes whilst managing portfolios
- Provide regular guidance/coaching to senior associates, associates and analysts within the team.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Extensive demonstrated experience working in a similar role within Corporate & Institutional Banking
- Strong skills in credit writing, transaction structuring and document negotiation is essential
- Awareness of market risk related issues (including legislation etc.)
- Exceptional communication, relationship management and leadership skills
- Proven ability in strategic planning and execution skills
- Tertiary qualifications, typically in commerce, business, finance, or related discipline
