As the Associate Director, Credit Stress Testing, you will join the Credit Stress Testing team that’s doubling down on leading Australia's transition to a sustainable future whilst making banking easier for millions of customers and shaping the future of sustainable banking.
In this role, you'll deliver top-down climate scenario analysis to support NAB’s evaluation of assets vulnerable to physical and transition risk and help communicate stress testing outcomes across the organisation.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Coordinate with subject matter experts across risk, finance, and climate sustainability teams to facilitate delivery of top-down climate scenario analysis outcomes.
- Establish and deliver a program of methodological and modelling improvements to NAB’s climate stress testing models.
- Provide actionable advice to relevant Executives on NAB’s climate scenario analysis and stress testing outcomes.
- Maintain climate stress testing documentation to a reasonable assurance standard.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Strong technical background in modelling/quantitative or mathematics, and finance is preferred.
- Previous experience in stress testing (climate, credit or enterprise) will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely for senior leaders.
- Climate scenario analysis experience highly valued.
- Excellent analytical capability and experience.
