As a Head of Ways of Working and Capability, you will join the People & Culture team that’s focused on owing it and winning together.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Lead the design and execution of a capability strategy that accelerates delivery, enhances customer outcomes, and empowers teams to operate with clarity, confidence, and agility.
  • Define and maintain standardised role frameworks across product, technology, and delivery. Embed capability assessments, uplift pathways, and agile ways of working across the organisation.
  • Design and roll out targeted uplift programs for leaders and squads, enabling high-performance behaviours and scalable delivery excellence.
  • Partner with Technology and Business to embed technical fluency into product roles—ensuring our product leaders are equipped to drive customer focused, tech-enabled outcomes.
  • Establish and track capability maturity, using data-driven insights to inform coaching, investment, and transformation priorities.
  • Lead a high-performing team of organisational design, capability, and coaching specialists. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide thought leadership and challenge to Domains, influencing actions that will most powerfully shift agile maturity and delivery effectiveness across the enterprise.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale change and transformation programs within complex technology or financial services environments. Able to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, with the ability to bridge technical and business domains to embed modern engineering ways of working.
  • High level of data literacy, with the ability to define, track, and communicate value and maturity through meaningful metrics and performance indicators.
  • Deep experience in Agile Delivery, with a nuanced understanding of key roles, frameworks, and agile operating models. Able to embed agile principles into leadership, team behaviours, and delivery rhythms.
  • Strong grasp of what constitutes value-driven outcomes, and the ability to align agile ways of working with business strategy and customer impact.
  • Be a proven leader who inspires high levels of engagement, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience in organisational behaviour, change, learning and development, or similar disciplines. Able to design and deliver capability uplift programs that scale across squads, leaders, and domains.
