In this Associate Director role, you will:
- Bring the best of NAB to high value clients through your relationship building qualities
- Be part of a high performing, close-knit team that shares learnings, insights and workloads
- Seamlessly deliver Transaction Banking products and structures that provide financial and operational efficiencies for our clients
- Work alongside Directors and Business Development team members to identify and close new growth opportunities
- Execute on sector aligned product initiatives that compliment C&IB strategic objectives at both a client and portfolio level
- Manage complex client requests that often involve liaising with multiple stakeholders and operational teams to determine the cause and resolve the issue
- Deliver Transaction Banking reviews and insights to both internal & external audiences
- Seek and communicate client feedback in the interests of continuous improvement
- Proactively manage risk and adhere to process, controls and procedures pertinent to the role. Escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience in transaction banking and/or deposits is preferred but will consider candidates with a genuine interest and clear understanding of payments products, systems and processes.
- A willingness to learn about our clients unique operations in the Funds, Real Estate, Resources, Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities industries.
- A curious mindset in seeking out growth opportunities and areas of improvement
- “Customer obsession” with proven capability in managing complex client relationships
- Your best self every day with a team first attitude and readiness to help out
- Proactive building of effective working relationships with both internal and client stakeholders across varying levels of seniority
- Strong ability to communicate with a willingness to pick up the phone
