This is a diverse portfolio with both pre and post farm gate clients and some corporate size enterprises and high net worth individuals across a range of sub sectors including broadacre, beef cattle, poultry and dairy farming, grain and dairy exporters, food processing and manufacturing to name a few.
A great opportunity for someone wanting to gain exposure to the Corporate Agribusiness part of R&A, build up a broader knowledge of sub sectors and supply chain in Agribusiness and also exposure to different products through our Trade and Working Capital solutions.
In this Agribusiness Manager role, you will
- Develop and manage a portfolio of agribusiness customers
- Assess economic value and risk potential of new business
- Educate customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth
- Proactively call on networks of contacts to help identify new business and referral opportunities
- Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market
- Utilise your networks within pre-farmgate and post-farmgate local markets
- Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
- Coach and support the team to ensure efficient high quality customer service
What you will bring:
- Drive and tenacity
- Experience in all aspects for financial analysis
- Passion for relationship management
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar Agribusiness Banker role preferred
- Experience and knowledge of Agribusiness banking and/or credit assessment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business or related discipline
