As the Finance Partner for our Customer Experience division within the COO Finance team, you will drive insight and analysis to create and support a deep understanding of the business area. It will also play a key co-ordination role across the GCOO Businesses reporting and oversight.
The purpose of the role is to be a member of the CE Business teams you support and provide commercial financial leadership, guidance and support to the business including financial planning, financial control, forecasting, reporting, analysis and advisory services.

In this Finance Partner role, you will
- Translate the strategy of the business unit into functionally effective plan. Provide the overall direction to the BU leadership team to ensure development and delivery of objectives and initiatives are within the strategic parameters.
- Deliver monthly reporting, understand the performance drivers, and provide key reasons for variance from plan and prior reporting periods.
- Deliver the reporting oversight of Domain and project activities and consolidation reporting and support the central reporting and oversight for GCOO.
- Identify financial and non-financial performance trends through critical review and analysis and develop and recommend strategies to improve business performance.
- Create insights to assist the business in understanding plan changes and options to meet plan.
- Constructively challenging management’s proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit, providing advice to the BU leadership teams on critical decisions and trade-offs.
- Coaching and development of Senior Associates to deliver above for the business and grow commercial acumen, risk and control management and simplification capability of Finance team.
Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:
- Strong stakeholder management skills where you can constructively challenge management’s proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit.
- Experience across a range of Finance disciplines including partnering with divisions, corporate centre planning and reporting and financial control roles.
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business, CA/CPA preferable.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment.
- Data and business intelligence, including advanced Excel skills and ideally some exposure to PowerBI.
- Good understanding of process, risk and controls on reporting and analysis.
- Strong process improvement capability in both identification and successful implementation of process re-engineering initiatives.
- Sound professional experience in finance/accounting, financial services or corporate reporting.
