Senior Associate, Strategic Capital

Strategic Capital originates and distributes debt transactions into the private capital investor base. The team structures, underwrites and fully sells down deals which sit outside of bank market appetite. We provide our clients with growth capital and stretch funding solutions to expand or stabilise their businesses.

In this Senior Associate role, you will.. 

• Contribute to innovative solutions to deliver private capital to clients 

• Work with clients to scale their business, maximise returns, and strengthen balance sheet resilience for sustainable growth 

• Analyse businesses in-depth and evaluate financial models and due diligence to assist in deal structuring and the distribution of transactions  

• Draft information memorandums, teaser documents and underwriting memos, with emerging skills in facility agreement and intercreditor terms negotiation 

• Maintain relationships with investors and stay up to date on market appetite  

• Collaborate with senior members of the team and more broadly across Corporate & Institutional Bank to stay across client needs and uncover opportunities 

What you’ll bring.. 

• Track record of experience across structured and complex finance, investment banking, credit funds, or similar financial environments 

• Proficient in investment analysis, financial modelling and valuation 

• Adept at building strong partnerships and collaborating with diverse business stakeholders and investors to achieve outcomes
