Senior Associate Director, Strategic Capital

Strategic Capital originates and distributes debt transactions into the private capital investor base. The team structures, underwrites and fully sells down deals which sit outside of bank market appetite. We provide our clients with growth capital and stretch funding solutions to expand or stabilise their businesses.

This role offers the opportunity to drive and shape high-impact deals from start to finish, taking the lead on structuring and guiding transactions to success.

In this Senior Associate Director role, you will.. 

• Take a lead role in driving transactions to market, showcasing your expertise and strategic decision-making with minimal oversight from our Executive Director 

• Play a pivotal role in crafting deal structures, creating impactful marketing materials, and seamlessly executing transactions to engage the right investor base, driving successful sell-downs of underwrites 

• Lead the charge in crafting compelling information memorandums, teaser documents, and underwriting memos, while overseeing and refining key supporting documents like mandate letters, facility agreements, and intercreditor deeds  

• Maintain relationships with investors and stay up to date on market appetite  

• Collaborate with the team to achieve ambitious transaction revenue and volume goals, turning targets into tangible successes 

• Partner closely with teams across Corporate & Institutional Bank to stay across client needs and uncover opportunities 

What you’ll bring.. 

• Track record of experience across structured and complex finance, investment banking, credit funds, or similar environments 

• The ability to quickly understand a high volume of information about clients and market sectors, then integrate this with investor appetite to develop a commercially attractive solution for the client 

• Proficient in investment analysis, financial modelling and valuation 

• Capability to meaningfully contribute to the origination and distribution of transactions with confidence and expertise
