In this Senior Associate, Controls & Obligations Monitoring role, you will:
- Independently undertake control design and operating effectiveness testing and validating linkages to process maps, risks, and obligations.
- Deliver design and operating effectiveness workpapers to a high standard and within timelines.
- Coach peers and review work of other colleagues.
- Communicate and agree findings with business stakeholders, ensuring these findings are pragmatic and value adding.
- Build relationships with business stakeholders and DCO teams and provide control advice where relevant.
- Identify and timely escalation of any issues and provides potential solutions as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in Technology Audit, Assurance or Risk Management related roles within Financial Services.
- Strong working knowledge of assurance practices, standards, and risk implications.
- Clear understanding and experience in testing automated controls / controls embedded in applications.
- Ability to perform control design and operating effectiveness testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence outcomes.
- Strategic, delivery and outcome focus mindset.
