Support the Finance Business and Private Banking team to produce high quality, insightful management reporting and performance updates to support the Medfin business decision making. You will provide commercial financial insights and analysis to drive and improve business performance. You will also be involved in month end close and will be completing end of month reconciliations and reporting (regulatory and statutory).
- 11-month fixed-term opportunity to partner with NAB’s Medfin business directly.
- Supporting the Finance Partner, you are a key part of the finance partnering activities.
- Support and align with the NAB Finance Strategy to modernise Finance.
In this Senior Associate role, you will
- Complete weekly and monthly sales performance reporting:
- New business and churn
- Exception reporting – pricing discounting and fee waivers
- Participate in end of month processes, incl. reporting and reconciliations:
- Regulatory reporting (several submissions)
- GST reconciliations and reporting (two companies)
- Preparation of manual journals (manual adjustments)
- Complete Medfin Portfolio reporting
- Complete business-related calculations and reporting
- Provide support to Medfin Business with data various requests
- Provide support to the other roles in the team as and when required
- Provides timely and accurate responses to the Business to support Medfin’s customer value proposition.
What you’ll bring

- Excellent stakeholder management skills including planning, communication and influencing skills.
- Advanced MS Office skills with ability to write formulas and deploy data queries in Excel (i.e., Power Query capability).
- Profound experience in data analysis, problem solving and driving commercial insights.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Substantial years of experience in finance/financial services. Tertiary degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce/Business preferred along with CA/CPA qualification.
