In this Commercial Consultant role, you will:

  • Understand our customers, their needs, and how we can better and more effectively engage with them and deliver our industry leading products
  • Help set NABs Small Business strategy
  • Strengthen NABs Small Business customer proposition and increase the effectiveness of banker led and digital sales, working with our banking and service teams to identify, pilot, and implement change
  • Optimise application of risk to ensure efficient operations across distribution channels
  • Develop initiatives to understand and optimise cost to service, build share of wallet and processes
  • Generate insight from data to uplift how we work and improve our business
  • Foster and support a continuous improvement focus and mindset

What you will bring:

  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills. A track record of building rapport and credibility quickly with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesize complex information to clearly and effectively communicate insights and recommendations (both verbally and written) to all audiences, including senior leaders
  • Ability to generate compelling insight from data and quantitative analysis
  • Experience in commercial and strategic problem solving with an ability to break down complex and ambiguous problems using structured thinking
  • Ability to build and maintain models that measure financial or sales and workload impacts from changes and initiatives
  • Comfort with the ambiguous, a positive team mindset, curiosity, and a thirst for learning
