- Merchant services and/or payments experience desirable
In this Associate Director, Contracts role you will:
- align vendor management activities with strategic priorities, and create value through cost savings, risk reduction, performance improvement and innovation.
- drive contract and pricing negotiations, ensuring contractual requirements are delivered on time, to agreed budget and are aligned to the risk appetite of the Domain and the Bank.
- ensure supplier risks are identified, assessed, monitored and managed from the execution of the arrangement through to disengagement.
- Pursue innovation with major suppliers and negotiate strategic relationships in support of strategic and marketing plans
- Support the Merchant Services and HICAPS teams who are involved in managing the third parties and work closely with the relevant stakeholders to perform reviews and other governance activities in compliance with internal policies
- Provide guidance and coaching of junior team members
What will you bring:
- Extensive experience in Merchant Acquiring/Payments or Product Delivery
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing internally and externally with vendors is essential
- Strong commercial acumen
- Great team player working in a small team there is a need to be involved
- Background / qualifications in Vendor or Partnership Management
