About the role:
This is a great opportunity to join the Enterprise Property & Strategic Sourcing Enablement function and become part of a team tasked with driving excellence, efficiency and insight across a business unit which touches all colleagues within the NAB Group. You will have extensive skills, knowledge and experience of developing and running the operating rhythm across, finances, risk, processes, controls and workforce management. In parallel the area is responsible for driving new innovation into existing operations through an extensive project portfolio designed to enable colleagues to spend more time on the customer and commercial outcome. Project remit extends across technical delivery, process optimisation and delivery of regulatory projects.
You will have extensive leadership experience leading teams of 20+ technical and non-technical experts across multiple business functions and across multiple geographic locations. Leadership experience should extend to leading multiple levels of teams and direct reports.
This is a key role supporting the Executive, EP&SS Enablement liaising with multiple stakeholders across the business. within the area, Technology and of Group Property to competently and efficiently run a portfolio of 600+ NAB properties around the world.
About you:
- Passionate about delivering change and enhancing business operations on an ongoing basis with a strong understanding of managing and delivering projects
- Adept at navigating and driving outcomes in a large complex organisation, building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of process, risk and control environments with an ability to identify key insights and issues to address.
- A strong team leadership and coaching track record, developing future talent to drive the area forward.
Desired skills and experience
- Strong leadership capabilities, including demonstrated experience leading in complex environments.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills (budgeting, business case development, knowledge of financial reporting standards).
- Demonstrable track record of project delivery across a wide and varied business audience.
- Experience reporting to senior executives and providing subject matter expertise to senior leaders.
- Ability to work with remote leadership colleagues with different areas of technical expertise.
- Experience in process mapping and continuous improvement.
- Experience with software implementation across multiple functions.
- Experience building and embedding new diverse teams.
- Demonstrated experience with complex problem-solving techniques and strategies.
- Able to work under high pressure environments.
