It’s a good time to see what more you can find at NAB as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).

We currently have an opportunity for a RTE in the Transactional Banking and Enterprise Payments (TBEP) domain. As a RTE you be the driving force behind release planning and rollout out of software release into production, including cross-Domain dependencies. RTE’s communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.

In this role you will be responsible for:  

  • Delivery and integration planning of new solutions.
  • Managing progressive elaboration of business outcomes: the right amount of planning and design to enable focused delivery.
  • Facilitate execution across diverse set of Agile development teams to ensure strategy and execution alignment.
  • Provide support for financial management of business outcomes.
  • Keep key stakeholders informed of overall progress against the release commitments.
  • Manage dependencies across squads and remove roadblocks to drive outcomes with product owners and business stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you must have the below skills and experience:

  • At least 10 years project management experience, relating to major IT and/or business projects.
  • Extensive experience with agile software development life cycles and process.
  • Exceptional stakeholder and vendor management.
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment.
  • Experience across Agile and adaptive delivery models and mindsets.
  • Track record of operating effectively and delivering consistent results in a large, complex business.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, analytics and business process based solutions.
