In this role, you will
- Drive the effective development, governance and delivery of NAB’s HSW strategy and frameworks as a key member of the HSW leadership team.
- Engage business leaders to drive improvements in health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) performance and ensure they have full visibility of physical and psychosocial risks within their business.
- Partner with customer facing teams to develop and implement frameworks and supporting process as required, prioritising continuous improvement to enhance the effectiveness of delivery to our colleagues.
- Prepare and present high-quality health and safety reports for Leadership teams, highlighting key HSW risks and mitigation strategies, safety metrics and areas for improvement.
- Undertake risk assessments and reviews of enterprise HSW risks, along with activities to strengthen the implementation of NAB’s safety management system.
- Provide HSW advice on Third Party Risk Management to ensure effective identification and management of HSW risks, in addition to ongoing monitoring of safety performance for key suppliers.
- Undertake HSW internal audits, support external audits and Regulatory inspections as required.
What you'll bring:
- Tertiary qualification in health and safety.
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Wellbeing advisory role.
- Experience in coaching and developing others in safety practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management frameworks including for psychosocial risks.
- Audit experience including for ISO 45001 and/or self-insurance Work Health and Safety audits.
- Demonstrated experience in writing and presenting reports to Senior Leadership teams.
- Strong execution discipline and service mindset that ensures effective and efficient delivery.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills to understand and manage business impacts/needs to achieve positive strategic outcomes.
