Join one of Australia’s largest design teams as a Design Operations Consultant led by our Head of Design Operations.
This role is responsible for supporting the design team to leverage the power of design thinking to solve complex problems, making banking more intuitive, engaging and accessible.
The Design Operations team optimise people, processes and tooling to boost the impact and quality of design outputs.
In the Design Operations Consultant role, you will
- Manage recruitment, vendor engagement, onboarding, induction and offboarding for designers working in the team.
- Manage operations and workforce reporting across Design
- Design operations communications and reporting
- Resource management for projects requiring Experience Design including new requests, pipeline management, backfills.
- Ensure designers have access to equipment and tools to support them in their role.
- Responsible for purchasing (purchase orders, invoice management and contract management) and BCM (business continuity management)
- Diary and event management as required.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Mature level of analytical capability and business acumen
- Demonstrated strong communication and relationship management with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Understanding of Experience Design
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and prioritization.
- Understanding of operational risk management
- Demonstrated efficiency, resilience and growth mindset.
