As an Data Analyst, Fraud Prevention & Detection, you will,
- Perform analysis into large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends related to fraud and investigations for Group Investigations & Fraud
- Leverage insights and analysis to proactively problem solve and identify opportunities to provide intelligence to the investigation's team
- Identify and investigate referred data and intelligence requests
- Research industry fraud trends to understand the threat landscape
- Provide support for control testing & identification of risk events
- Ensure governance ownership and accountability for fraud risks, controls, models and audit items
- Demonstrated understanding of fraud threats and shifts in trends within our business
- Contribution to the delivery of goals in-line with the Group Investigations and Fraud strategy
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar Data Analyst role providing database analysis, insights reporting and application programming
- Experience with exploring the use of large amounts of data (structured & unstructured)
- Experience using tools such as Quantexa, Power BI, SQL, Splunk, Python R
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail
- Proven experience to follow investigation plans
- Understanding of fraud data analysis methods, data modelling, data strategies and sound technical experience preferred
- Experience preforming analysis into large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends related to fraud and investigations
- Ability to prepare reports for senior management, summarising findings, trends, and recommendations
- Proven verbal and written communication skills with an ability to confidently express ideas or concerns
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
