As a Senior Internal Auditor within NAB’s Business and Private Internal Audit team, you will support the planning, execution and reporting of Audit activity as set out in the Audit Charter and the annual Audit Plan.

In this role, you will

  • Plan and project manage delivery of audits within agreed resource and time budgets.
  • Efficiently deliver and provide documentation of quality audit workpapers in the systems of record, including walkthroughs, control identification, control design assessments and control operating effectiveness testing.
  • Form effective working relationships with business contacts during audits so information can be gathered, facts verified and escalate delivery problems where they cannot be directly solved.
  • Provide verification of audit raised issues within internal SLA targets once the business indicate issues are complete, supported by quality workpapers.
  • Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified.

What you’ll bring

  • Business Banking experience is beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of various risk types spanning multiple areas of the bank.
  • Sound understanding of processes and key controls, utilising data to support rationale.
  • Be highly organised with an ability to work autonomously to meet timeframes.
  • Proven experience with stakeholder engagement and management.
