In the Senior Consultant, Technical Services role, you will
- Provide operational supervision, guidance and support to the physical security technical services team and infrastructure operations;
- Maintain the physical security production and test environment applications and infrastructure;
- Provide technical support and resolution of support tickets on a 24/7 basis via a rotating team on-call schedule, including an expectation to work from the physical security office-based Fusion centre;
- Facilitate proof of concept and deployments of new technology solutions;
- Monitor and maintain the efficiency of physical security devices and applications, proactively identifying and addressing issues;
- Provide comprehensible stakeholder communications and management of stakeholder expectations;
- Maintain good working relationships with manufacturers and vendors to ensure product improvements are identified, communicated and implemented;
Your skills and experience:
- Significant experience with maintaining physical security solutions in large distributed corporate environment (ideally banking), including building access control, alarms, CCTV, video wall AV solutions and SaaS security applications;
- Strong capability and understanding of a broad range of information technologies, including Windows and Linux servers, networks and firewalls, Cloud hosting (Azure/AWS), SQL database, API and SDK, GitHub, Rally, Control-M, Confluence and ServiceNow;
- Appreciation of enterprise processes and tools such as: incident management, change management, work orders, support tickets, vulnerability scanning and remediation;
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and oral communications;
- Strong sense of self ownership to drive business outcomes;
- Tertiary qualification in a Technology discipline, relevant hardware certifications, industry security licenses;
