The Opportunity
This is a hands-on Designer/System Integrator role, with a great opportunity to provide technical leadership in the CIAM space to the Enterprise. You will be part of the team that develops and maintains NAB’s Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform - a Category A Tier 1 service having near to 100% availability requirements and a multi cloud footprint. The team uses best in class technologies and practices to continuously develop, integrate and deploy cutting edge identity and authentication experiences for NAB customers. These experiences are developed with a mobile-first focus and includes digital identity, single and multi-factor authentication, biometric (fingerprint, faceprint and voice) authentication, trusted device registration, device management, credential management etc.
Day to day will include.
Technical
- Provide technical leadership and guidance/support to teams integrating with NAB’s CIAM platform.
- Translate business requirement and high-level architecture to solution design
- Help application teams in troubleshooting issues in development and test environments. Provide third level support for production issues.
- Manage stakeholders from both business and technology.
- Contribute towards evolving and improving standards and practices for development, automated testing, DevSecops and SRE.
Team
- Work within a team of skilled Developers/Engineers on software development, testing and issue resolution.
- Work with vendors, including application and infrastructure on development and support of the platform.
- Work with project teams and other technology teams on cross domain solution design, solution integration, environment, and test support.
- Work with project managers on planning and estimation
- Coaching and mentoring technical resources
Capability Development
- Support and contribute to the strategy and roadmap of Identity and Access Management for the organisation.
- Support and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools.
- Advise and assist operations for improving uptime, reduce service incidents and accelerating software deployments.
- Drive better metrics and monitoring initiatives to gain more insight into the behaviour of the applications and products.
What you bring to the role
- 5+ years of experience in an enterprise integration design or architecture role.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead specialise in software development using Java and relationship databases and directories, in a complex, enterprise-level development environment.
- 3+ years in identity and access management development or integration.
- Strong understanding of API Security, micro-services and Service Mesh concepts and deployments.
- Strong experience of IDAM standards and protocols: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, FIDO2 etc.
- Strong technical expertise in enterprise database/directories (eg. RDBMS, DB2, Active Directory, Ping Directory, ForgeRock Directory, Oracle Unified Directory, OpenDJ, eTrust/CA Directory etc)
- Strong technical expertise in enterprise security integration (eg. SSL, PKI, Key Management, Firewalls, Networking, and routing, load balancing etc)
- Technical expertise in Identity and Access Management domain and tools. (eg. Thales Safe Sign, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Identity Manager, Tivoli Access Manager, Tivoli Identity Manager, Trasmit Security, Ping Identity)
- Strong expertise with enterprise middleware software (eg. OSB, Data Power, SOA, MQ etc)
- Strong technical experience in LDAP and LDAP Server (eg. Oracle OUD, OpenDJ, Ping DS etc)
- Strong experience with network, operating system, database, and storage support.
