About The Role:

 

At Advantedge we have specialist Business Development Managers, partnering with Aggregators and mortgage brokers to make home lending easy for their customers. We are currently looking to expand our Broker distribution team, in one of our key locations in NSW.

Finding a home can be stressful! But financing one shouldn’t have to be. At Advantedge, our Broker Business Development Managers make the home lending experience simpler, thinking of the little things (smart tools that speed up paperwork) and the big things (genuine support from specialists).

 You are:

  • Experienced within the Broker industry, mortgage and credit products

A typical day will include:

  • To drive strategic sales via the third-party mortgage broker channel.  This includes being responsible for the maintenance and growth of  existing high value brokers by providing exceptional service, advice, product and policy and compliance expertise 
  • To be a first point of contact to help resolve broker questions on home lending products including suitability, approval process and compliance matters
  • Ensure brokers receive a first class, smooth experience in the management and maintenance of brokers customer lending needs and the NAB home lending process via third party brokers

About you

Thriving on business excellence, you will be an experienced business development professional who prides yourself on maintaining strong industry networks and as someone who understands the unique drivers and opportunities within the Broker industry. Your diverse experience and knowledge in mortgage lending will also be accompanied by:

Key Interfaces include - Panel of Mortgage Brokers aligned to specific Aggregators or Geographic regions, Aggregator group representatives and Internal stakeholders such as Credit, Pricing, Operations, Valuation Services.

Accountabilities:

  • Proactively find and manage high-value Mortgage Brokers to achieve specific lending targets that contribute to individual and overall portfolio growth. Develop a sound understanding of the Brokers business to identify product and service opportunities that are aligned to our offerings.
  • Conduct regular planned Sales Calls with structured objectives and outcomes. Capture all Sales Calls and activity using Customer Record Management System (Salesforce). Manage and leverage stakeholder relationships to deliver a comprehensive, competitive and quality service experience to broker businesses
  • Undertake Market Education Program sessions and Broker Professional Development events to ensure the Nab Broker value proposition is realised. Discuss lending scenarios and structure with broker panel. Respond to queries regarding product, policy and process to make it easier for Brokers to do business with us.
  • Meet with Aggregator group representatives to develop a mutually beneficial understanding and relationship with outcomes across common goals.

Tertiary qualifications in business, finance or a similar discipline would be an advantage. Banking/lending experience more than 5+ years and Proven Success in achieving and exceeding targets and sales growth. Experience in a current Business Development role is highly essential.
