The Role
As a Senior Analyst SRE you will join other Developers, Manager Engineers, Test Automation Engineers, and Business Analysts.
You’d work across the Service Team collaborating within your own squad, individual developers and manager engineers to deliver first class banking software that provides real value to our customers and an outstanding user experience.
You will be a strong team player with good written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to participate in all aspects of the SDLC.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
- Evolving systems to improve reliability and velocity.
- Practicing sustainable incident response, through delivery of incident response playbooks & automated recovery mechanisms.
- Running continuous Improvement activities that improve service availability, recovery, efficiency & performance.
- Familiar with ITIL framework to track and manage production incidents, Problems, Changes and service requests.
Applicants must have a strong background in:
- Linux system administration.
- Scripting and automation.
- Web server administration (e.g. Apache / NGIX / Jetty etc).
- Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
- SQL skills
- Critical thinker and a problem solver
- API & Microservices Integration
Experience with the following would be advantageous:
- Docker and related technologies (ECR, etc.).
