You will play an important role contributing to the achievement of NAB’s strategy and appropriate management of risk through:

• Providing technology legal support in relation to negotiation and implementation of major M&A projects.
• Negotiation of technology agreements, including major cloud agreements – supporting NAB’s technology procurement agenda
• Providing strategic legal advice in relation to interpretation of contracts and disputes.

What you will bring

You have excellent stakeholder management expertise and the ability to build credibility with business partners, underpinned by first class communication and influencing skills. A highly motivated individual who strives to consistently provide high quality, commercially relevant, cost effective legal services, you also have:

• >8 years’ PQE at a major law firm or relevant in-house role
• Experience operating independently and with significant autonomy
• Demonstrated experience providing technology legal support in relation to negotiation and implementation of major M&A projects
• Experience in the negotiation of technology agreements, including major cloud agreements
• Ability to provide strategic legal advice in relation to interpretation of contracts and disputes.
• A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent degree and a current Australian Practising Certificate
