About the role:

As a Senior Consultant, Operations Governance & Controls (Group Property), you will be reporting into the Head of Property Operations and working closely with Senior Leaders in supporting the organisation’s business and strategic objectives.  You will be responsible for the management of operational governance and controls to provide efficient and effective management of property assets, systems and services.  You will hold key relationships with third party vendors ensuring the execution of objectives and that assets are performing at optimal levels.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Strategic, relationship and operational management of third-party property vendors.
  • Driving performance outcomes, ensuring timely interventions are implemented to uplift value and performance.
  • Owning and driving the effective provision of governance functions, frameworks, processes, and controls including business continuity, risk and compliance management and reporting.
  • Leading productivity initiatives across the function to drive cost reduction outcomes and influence a culture of Operational Excellence and Efficiency.
  • Advocating and building strong relationships across the servicing business portfolios to ensure alignment of strategic priorities across the group.
  • Overseeing NAB’s energy budget and purchasing strategy.
  • Providing SME advice on procurement and sourcing of external services.

Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Extensive property experience in a similar organisation and/or industry.
  • Experience in supplier, process and/or facilities management and reporting.
  • Experience with property management and compliance requirements.
  • Experience driving governance and compliance framework development and implementation.
  • Extensive analytical experience with a proven ability to understand key metrics and drive the implementation of interventions to uplift performance outcomes.
  • Managing budgets, controlling costs and financial management.
