In the role of Whistleblower Protection Officer, you will help influence and drive a culture of compliance, honesty, and ethical behaviour across NAB by encouraging our colleagues to speak up about concerns and supporting and protecting those that do.
Each day you will go above and beyond to:
- Support the ongoing development of the Whistleblower program to ensure it remains aligned with legal obligations, industry standards and international best practice.
- Actively support and protect people that disclose concerns to the program or who are part of a whistleblower investigation.
- Undertake data analytics and generate predictive risk insights to proactively identify emerging risks, themes and trends.
- Assist in the oversight of investigations into wrongdoing disclosures to ensure they are conducted confidentially, fairly and objectively.
- Undertake training to raise awareness and promote initiatives of the Whistleblower program.
What you’ll bring
- Passion for fairness and ‘doing the right thing’ is a must.
- Experience with high level problem solving, preferably in a confidential/sensitive setting.
- Strong data analytics and insights capabilities.
- Be empathetic and resilient whilst providing support when liaising with colleagues.
- Develop strong and effective working relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic.
- Ability to identify potential issues and communicate/escalate as necessary.
