In the role of a Sr. Consultant Credit Analytics Delivery, you will join the Business Lending Credit strategy team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

The Opportunity

At NAB, we're building the bank of the future through data, analytics and automation. As a Senior Consultant, Credit Analytics Delivery, you'll be a hands-on technical expert responsible for delivering advanced analytics, predictive modelling and machine learning solutions that improve credit decisioning and portfolio outcomes across Business Lending.

Working closely with Credit Strategy, Product Owners, Risk, Data & Analytics and Technology teams, you'll translate complex business problems into actionable insights and scalable analytical solutions. You'll play a key role in enhancing automated credit strategies while maintaining strong risk and control standards.

In this role, you will:

• Develop analytical Insights that support Business Lending credit strategies and drive better business outcomes.
• Partner with stakeholders across Credit Strategy, Risk, Product and Technology to identify opportunities and solve complex credit challenges.
• Support the design, monitoring and optimisation of automated decisioning strategies and credit risk frameworks.
• Provide technical expertise, coaching and peer review to uplift team capability.
• Explore emerging technologies, AI techniques and alternative data sources to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

• Experience in Credit Risk, Business Lending, Financial Services, Data Science or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong capability in predictive modelling, machine learning and statistical analysis.
• Advanced Python programming and analytics delivery experience.
• Experience working with decision systems, analytical tools and model development frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A risk mindset with the ability to balance innovation and governance.
• Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.

This is full-time permanent opportunity and can be performed from either Melbourne or Sydney.
