As the Senior Consultant, Merchant Acquiring Sales, you will be part of the Merchant Services team that is passionate in supporting Australian businesses seeking a broad range of merchant acquiring solutions across both e-commerce and card present solutions, all of whom have complex integration requirements.

As a result, each day, you’ll go above and beyond to: 

  • Drive customer growth & actively support merchants to provide innovative payment solutions. 

  • Identify new sales opportunities for both new and existing Merchant Acquiring customers and increase revenue of the portfolio by developing a pipeline in collaboration with our Transactional Bankers. 

  • Partner with product and banking teams to build collective capability in Merchant Acquiring and provide technical insights. 

  • Contribute as a thought leaders to educate stakeholders and customers on acquiring, payments, and transaction solutions.  

What You'll Bring: 

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar, Technical Sales Merchant Acquiring role, with deep knowledge of merchant acquiring, transactional banking and payments products, including e-commerce, POS, and ERP solutions. 
  • Exceptional skills and expertise in strategic sales conversations about acquiring solutions (CP/CNP, 3D secure, tokenization, API integration). 
  • Be passionate about merchant acquiring and payments industry with proven knowledge of the latest trends, technologies and regulations relating to payments. 
  • Demonstrable sales skills.  
  • Sophisticated influencing skills to shape outcomes and achieve strategic initiatives. 
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with the proven ability to work across the breadth of internal and external customers.
