Our Brisbane CBD team are looking for an experienced Senior Business Banking Manager to join the team with particular focus is on Proprietary originated transactions.

This opportunity will see you focusing on the management of an existing commercial real estate client base whilst growing strong referral sources, community links and new business partnerships.

As a Senior Business Banking Manager, you will

• Assess economic value and risk potential of new business.
• Educate customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth.
• Proactively leveraging networks of internal and external contacts to help identify new referral opportunities.
• Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market.
• Talk to customers about their proposed annual business plans.
• Prepare and submit customer lending proposals with the support of our associate team.
• Working with internal specialists to best serve your customers.

What you will bring:

• Strong prior demonstrated experience within business banking and/or credit assessment.
• Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.
• Proven track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally.
• A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
• Business related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification is preferred.
