In the role of Senior Associate, you will join the Infrastructure, Energy and Utilities, Client Management & Execution (CME) team that’s doubling down on moving with speed.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to: 

• Provide origination credit and execution supporting Client Coverage and Specialised Finance (including project finance lending for greenfield construction assets)
• Manage a portfolio of customers across social, economic and core plus infrastructure (public private partnership, airports, ports, social housing, digital infrastructure) and energy (energy retailers, electricity and gas transmission and distribution network service provider and power generation, renewables)
• Manage legal documentation with customers  
• Ensure compliance with credit and bank policy as well as regulatory requirements
• Facilitate engagement between Client Coverage, Project Finance, and other Product Partners, to achieve a seamless client experience
• Lead client engagement discussions on risk management and monitoring to support insights on client operations and reporting
• Coach and develop associates and analysts within the team to bring their individual development plans to life, to uplift their sector knowledge and embed strong portfolio management skills.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:  

• To be passionate about the sector possessing extensive experience working across this industry, ideally within a Corporate Finance, Institutional Banking or Structured Finance lending environment, experience in engineering, consultancy, legal also appreciated  
• You’ll hold a relevant tertiary qualification with quantitative disciplines such as finance, economics, engineering or actuarial studies and/or corporate law
• Strong skills in financial modelling, credit writing, due diligence processes and loan documentation are required to ensure your success in this role
• Provide significant experience input and support on structuring transactions, preparing credit submissions, employing financial modelling where required and making recommendations on transactions to credit
• Awareness of market risk related issues (including regulation, legislation etc.)
• Exceptional communication, relationship management and leadership skills
