In the role of Senior Associate, you will join the International Economics team that’s doubling down on owning it!  

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Conduct economic analysis and forecasting of international economic and financial conditions 

  • Produce regular and thematic research reports on global economic issues 

  • Design and use quantitative forecasting models to generate timely insights 

  • Present economic findings to both customers and internal stakeholders 

  • Build strong relationships across business units and provide ad hoc analysis as required 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Significant experience as a macroeconomist, with a focus on international economic research and analysis 

  • Strong analytical and research capabilities, with knowledge of financial markets 

  • Proficiency in key statistical/econometric tools, including eViews and R 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly 

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in Economics, Commerce, or Finance
