In the role of Portfolio Manager Remediation Regulatory Response, you will join Catherine Broomhead and the B&PB DC Remediation & Regulatory Response team that’s doubling down on ensuring we put the customer in the heart of everything we do.  

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Use your investigative skills to lead team members to complete root cause analysis and identify gaps within NAB’s processes that need uplift and improvement.
  • Gather and analyse information collected from multiple qualitative and quantitative sources to identify possible patterns and causes. 
  • Collaborate and liaise with stakeholders across multiple divisions to validate findings and to design and recommend potential solutions.
  • Lead complex business remediation projects as a part of an agile delivery squad.
  • Work with the business to identify and deliver business improvements at local and enterprise levels.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management on the progress of your investigation and remediation activities.
  • Constructively challenge past or existing processes and inspire new ideas. 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Previous experience in Risk, Compliance or Internal Audit and/or similar within Financial Services/Banking is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project/Change Management and/or Business improvement will be highly regarded.
  • Strong delivery focus, including planning, with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines, manage dependencies, assumptions, risk and issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write investigations reports and other documents.
  • Customer centric mindset, curious mindset, and root cause analysis or investigations skills is essential for this role as well as strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Leadership role will be highly regarded.
