As a Finance Partner, you will join the Technology Risk & Remediation and COO Finance team that’s focused living the NAB Who We Are values.
In this Finance Partner role, you will
- Use your stakeholder management experience and commercial acumen to manage the financial performance and generate choices to optimise business performance.
- Add value to the divisions through balancing a strategic long-term approach to cost management and performance management of financial targets.
- Provide financial expertise for business case preparation, review and analysis.
- Prepare and present monthly management finance reports to Business Executives and communication to Leadership Teams.
- Ensure processes and systems keep up with changes in business rules, structures, and processes.
- Use your exceptional people leadership, ensuring the work environment is supportive and that our people have clarity and are developed to their potential.
Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:
- Strong stakeholder management skills where you can constructively challenge management’s proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit.
- Exceptional people leadership, ensuring the work environment is supportive and that our people have clarity and are developed to their potential.
- Collaborate with peers to identify and leverage best practice to drive effectiveness uplift across the Finance partner team.
- Substantial years of experience in senior finance roles, including roles in commercial business partnering, budgeting and reporting, and financial control roles.
- Experience in technology preferred with tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business, CA/CPA.
- Proven ability to handle and coordinate multiple competing deliverables; and capability to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment.
- Data and business intelligence, including advanced Excel skills and ideally exposure to PowerBI.
