As a Finance Partner, you will join the Corporate Finance - Finance team that’s focused on winning together (partnering with the business (Corporate Finance).
In this Finance Partner role, you will
- Support the translation of the strategy of the business (Corporate Finance) unit into functionally effective plan.
- Support the Corporate Finance Executives in partnership with the Head of/CFO, to grow the business, align with our strategic ambition and ensure transformation / simplification benefits are achieved in a sustainable and coordinated manner.
- Lead and manage forecasting process for Revenue, Margin, Balance Sheet and Capital and ad-hoc analysis
- Identify performance trends and partnering with the business to drive business performance.
- Collaborate to ensure simplification by ensuring all standard reporting and financial control activities are delivered in a one-way same way approach across Finance.
- Support the NAB Group’s financial accounting, controlling, forecasting, planning and reporting process for the relevant business unit.
- Constructively challenging management’s proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit, providing advice to the Business Units leadership teams on critical decisions and trade-offs.
Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:
- Strong stakeholder management skills where you can constructively challenge management’s proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit.
- Exceptional people leadership, ensuring the work environment is supportive and that our people have clarity and are developed to their potential.
- Collaborate with peers to identify and leverage best practice to drive effectiveness uplift across the Finance partner team.
- Substantial years of experience in senior finance roles, including roles in commercial business partnering, budgeting and reporting, and financial control roles.
- Experience in technology preferred with tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business, CA/CPA.
- Proven ability to handle and coordinate multiple competing deliverables; and capability to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment.
- Data and business intelligence, including advanced Excel skills and ideally exposure to PowerBI.
