Exciting opportunity for a Consultant, Data Engineer to lead the analysis and design of robust, scalable data solutions. In the role of Consultant Data Engineer, you will be part of our Data Technology team doubling down on moving with speed.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to support with:
- Designing, coding, testing and installing applications programs either in one major language or in a range of programs across multiple platforms.
- Developing operating and system documentation.
- Ensuring that systems are developed within agreed budgets and time frames and achieving necessary design and systems security standards.
- Providing technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of applications development team
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Advanced skills and knowledge of DataBricks and IFW.
- Knowledge in how open-source programming works
- Ability to understand the essential needs of users and meet these in well-designed programs.
- Deep experience with data delivery projects
- Deep experience in implementation of new data platforms and onboarding data to hydrate the lake
- Strong understanding of Data Architecture, Data modelling and Data Platforms
- Experience with DataBricks platform preferrable
- Being able to understand and help drive build to meet requirements and how testing is delivered to assure we have built to requirements.
