In the role of Business Banking Manager, you will join Kristy Clayton and the Regional & Agri B&PB Canberra Diversified team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
Each day you will:
- Assess economic value and risk potential of new business
- Educate customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth
- Proactively leveraging networks of internal and external contacts to help identify new referral opportunities
- Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market
- Talk to customers about their proposed annual business plans
- Prepare and submit customer lending proposals
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Highly experienced retail/business banker with a business related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification (generally CA, PY, ACCA, MBA, CIB)
- Experience within business banking and/or credit assessment of around 4-8 years
- Several years of experience will have been in relation to the specific segment of operation with a comprehensive understanding of business/ commercial practices, BFS products and services, with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.
